band camp.

back from camp!

haha this time round was slacker than the previous time. or maybe it was just crazy previously. band practices were more effective this time though (: though uhm maybe i didn't do well today. haha but i'll come back to that later. so yeah the food were great, thanks chengho jess & yanny! you 3 are the best! RI exchange was okay la, i thought we were almostalmost on par! serious! i thought our overture was really good, i was darn pleased :D first time DF was better than usual too, but second time was just screwed. hurhur but yeah and we met miss ng! :D:D she remembers ussss gosh! :D haha well she knew my name, maybe cause of facebook but still, she remembereddd (: i think nanyang is really good. i'm amazed. they played hymn to the infinite sky. haha i remember the song. we tried before in 2007 but didn't work out. but they are seriously good (: haven't heard AMK play, wonder if they're better than nanyang? probably are but never know. will get a chance to hear AMK this saturday :D haha we're the only overture1 band in the afternoon! cool luh. i like overture 2, so will get loads of chances to hear (: yeah. haha anywayy! band prac out in the courtyard was great! haha i loved the arrangement and how the band sounded. nicenice, esp the endings. DF chords were nice, and overture ending note is like, whoo! echoecho super pretty. i'm sure on SYF day itself we'll be able to do it too :D jiayou la scband!

then at night, talked to mr tan & mk about stuff with the whole band. haha maybe this camp really brought us just that little bit closer with the conductors. but all these feel abit... unreal. i mean, mr tan isn't like this to the other schools right? so doing this specially for us is abit uhm, i dunno, just not right. haha nevermind its good that things are this way too, i guess. but i know my lips felt really weird. haha like supersuper itchy, i was so scared i wouldn't be able to play for the rest of the camp. lucky i survived (: after that went back to hall and chiong-ed pictures with part of the section. did chinese homework and poof, went to sleep.

tuesday morning. haha breakfast was okay. practice was okay. can't really remember what we did, but anyway i remember that we watcheddd cool vienna philharmonic play die fledermaus too! haha their conductor very cool. okay yeah anyway then brass sectionals. haha uhm, was rather hot la. cause had to practice in open air. but not bad la i guess. more practice, then finally had night prac again. gosh we saw an UFO! superduper cool! haha then we had a clinician who was nice! haha he's a funny guy who uses percussion instruments uniquely to teach, but i can't exactly spell/remember his name cause its a thai name. but yep he improved our band sound loads (: thanks mr whoever! :D yeah. then uhm oh before/during lights out was chiong-ing with michelle that iphone game! awesome coolness super fun. haha i'm good at it la (: yeah but stopped after awhile and chatted with michelle loads. oh yeah! kenna taupoked by conny and lingli la! violent people. oh and lingli kept scolding me a ...! D: D: my innocent brain is so polluted now. rawr. stupid alvin also. hurmph i'm such a innocent and nice girl how can you all scold me! next time i give you all BT style for sectionals ar! (no more chance alr, actually ): ): ) laugh at my style and despise my "shizheng" style! tsk. yeah then had haagen daz icecream! gosh thanks mr tan! (: it was like super expensive :\ i don't think we were worth it, anyway ): haha but oh well we enjoyed it. haha conny was forcing people to get the greentea flavour cause nobody wanted it. haha sheesh. then moved perc stuff back into the band room. leg kenna banged twice, got blueblack alr D: haha anyway then played pepsi cola with my dear trumpetrecruits06 batch :D haha jessica was like WOW! she killed michelleeeee (: i was super amused. then yeah (:

today. okay. sound deproved so much. i didn't think i was that tired, but i couldn't even do a high F today. sucked. and i sounded darn gross. weak sound too. rawr. it better not be like that on saturday :\

homework still alot to be done. shall do amath&finish hcl today. i want a nap too. maybe at 4 sth (: anyway can't wait till friday! hurhur my sister will be getting a new laptop so this one will be mineeeeee rawr yayeeee! haha then i shall delete all the extra stuff and get a more efficient laptop (: okay pictures!
